2006 Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc

The 2006 Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc fruit is located on the Gamble Ranch, which lies between the Yountville and Oakville Crossroads, right in the heart of the Napa Valley. The fruit was harvested on  December 1st, 2006, with a brix level of 35.0 degrees. The juice was fermented in stainless steel and held to age for six months. The alcohol content is 12.4% by volume and the sugar content is 14.25g/100ml.

This limited production wine (only 130 cases of 375ml bottles produced) is very elegant with aromas of melon, honey, pear, apricot and white flowers, balanced by a crisp acidity with lingering flavors of melon, apricot and sage.
